Worth the purchase if only for the blistering version or Calf. revisted that I have ever heard! Thats right blistering! Is in ROCK N ROLL That is the cut you play when people say to you Eagles rocked man, America was to mellow..Play Calf revisted & Green Monkey off this killer live record. It clearly should have been thier live offering in the 70's. Just be thankfull its been released at all!

This is a must for america fans. It''s intimate, it''s live, and it''s wonderful. Every bit of it! They did some pretty good rockin on songs like, Moon Song, California Revisited, and Green Monkey. The mellow songs were excellent, Ventura Highway, I Need You, Don''t Cross the River, ect... The guys played effortlessly each and every song. Dan Peek was able to show off some of his guitar skills and Gerry Beckley played thru the entire set with an air of confidence on his face, a true professional. What a rare treat to see Dewey, Gerry, and Dan live from this 70''s video.

Their BEST live recording and the only one available with all three original members! The songs have a harder "classic rock" sound to them. If they had released this album in 1977 instead of the "night clubish" Live! album, I think they wouldn`t have suffered their commercial decline (or it would have at least been delayed). An excellent collection, America at their peek. Highly recommended.
