Comments for Foster, David, River of Love

A pop-orientated album with only one instrumental song. David also picked two songs that he didn´t write himself for this album. He really "lifted" John Farnham´s mega-hit "You´re The Voice" Originally the song was very well arranged and produced, but David managed to make it even better! (listen to the break in the middle of the song!) Natalie Cole sings "Grown-up Christmas list", which has almost become a christmas classic. Amy Grant has also done a beautiful version of this song written by David and his wife, Linda Thompson. This CD also marks the breakthrough of Warren Wiebe´s talented voice. The whole album is a study in making a timeless and good "handcrafted" pop album that will last for a long time.
