Comments for Franke, Christopher, Babylon 5E-MAIL: lundgren@unm.edu This album is worth checking out even if you''re not a Babylon 5 fan: the very effective incidental music for this ground-breaking sf show has been re-orchestrated by Franke into four suites. Has a good mix of fast and slower, thoughtful music, and mixes orchestra instruments and synthesizer seamlessly. Oh, did I neglect to mention the nifty use of speaker switching? My goal in life is to get a surround-sound system to hear this CD in its full glory. (BTW, if you like this album, visit the Sonic Images web site, http://www.sonicimages.com/, where they are accepting suggestion for the new B5 album, which comes out in the fall, probably October.) I am not affiliated with them in any way beyond liking the B5 album quite a bit. This was *not* a limited release, and was not numbered or signed, but had new stuff.Comments supplied by users do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Roadkill Consulting, Inc. |
