This album is one of those that grows on you after awhile. On the first listen they sound like the Bee Gees on acid, but after a few you realize the album offers more. I recommend the new reissues on DCC or the South American and Spanish prints becaus they also include the 1968 singles: The Silent Gun/A Winters Tale and That's Me/One Eyed Hound.E-MAIL: geoffspamless@earthlink.net Very sweet album. An old favourite. Hated by progressive snobs, but who cares. A re-release of this album is also available on the London Records, Inc., label as "In the Beginning" (copyright 1977, LC5-50006). This is the group`s first album.Comments supplied by users do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Roadkill Consulting, Inc. |
