Comments for Genesis, Three Sides Live

Get the English version; it replaces the studio tracks with excellent live versions of "One For The Vine" and "Fountain Of Salmacis" and closes with a medley of "It" and a really atmospheric "Watcher Of The Skuies". These tracks probably make it my favourite Genesis album.

I agree, the version without the studio songs is much better. The studio songs weakened the original album in my opinion. Phil Collins singing the Fountain of Salmacias is a phenominal thing to hear, not to mention It!!! I highly recommend the 2nd fully live version.

This is a great live recording, I like it for the "Behind the lines/ Duchess" suite. Me and Sarah Jane is another great number performed life, and there is a real catchy beat to "Follow You Follow Me". In The Cage/Quite Earth/Cinema show medley is another highlight

I am pissed about the studio side being off!!! I only bought the CD because I wanted to have that side digital!!!

The last "side" (the last five songs) are studio recordings,not live - hence the title. Also available on Atlantic(copyright 1982, CS 2-2000).
