What a boner! The guy that wrote this up forgot to list the bonus tracks! they are: 11. Ode to the Banana King (part one) 12. Song for Eric 13. Happy Phantom (live) 14. Ring my Bell 15. The Happy Worker 16. Workers

This album actually is from Austrailia. It contains the original booklet from the Y Kant Tori Read album, but offers no information whatsoever on the origin of the bonus tracks.

I saw this same CD with YKTR and the same 6 bonus tracks in a bookstore in Albuquerque but it was called The Unreadable Tori and was on Tornado Records. The Happy Worker and Workers are apparently lifted from the Toys movie soundtrack CD. I am also a bit disappointed that she doesn't do stuff off YKTR in concert. Etienne still knocks my socks off every time I play it.

This album is NOT a 10. It does show flashes of brilliance and somewhat wider range vocally. Highlights are Etienne, Cool on Your Island, Fire on the Side, Floating City, and The Big Picture- and it would be great to hear these live. The rest of it is a Taylor Dayne or Madonna nightmare. Bonus tracks are a plus- Happy Worker is infectious. It is a must only for the avid fan.

I just saw her this past weekend in Milwaukee -- you could tell who the true, long-time fans were by who cheered when she mentioned YKTR. She played part of Cool on Your Island, and I melted. My best friend sings and plays Etienne on guitar...cool, but no comparison to Tori and her piano!
