Comments for Goo Goo Dolls, Hold Me Up

this album has some incredible songs, especially the fourth and last tracks. Their music is a credit to the work they've put in over the past ten years, while playing in relative obscurity.

I am surprised that this album has such a low rating. The only real problem I have with it is that the cover is uglier than sin........but that has nothing to do with it. The album starts off really great. Especially the first 5 songs. As far as I'm concerned this is one of their best. Superstar Carwash happens to be my favorite but this one runs a close second.

Brilliant 3rd effort from this great Buffalo, NY band.Incredible songwriting and performance overcome the occasional Replacements/Husker Du similarities. Immediateand unforgettable.
