50 years from now, when I''m a limping old man, this album will be THE example... well, maybe the album The Band also... that I will use to define genuine American folk music. A fine, fine album and not to be missed in this lifetime. The highest rating available is ''10,'' so I guess I''ll settle for that!
Essential album. They rediscover their folk roots & stillhave cool blues tunes like "Easy Wind." Contains "Casey Jones," and "Uncle John`s Band." "Cumberland Blues" is aterriffic bluegrass tune. This and American Beauty are theirmost popular albums - until 1987
