Comments for Amos, Tori, Boys For PeleE-MAIL: bawst2@pitt.edu This is a fabulous album. Beats UtP. May even beat LE. Flawlessly produced, lots of hooks, superb variety with cohesive theme and a near-perfect native song sequence. Multi-Platinum potential in the US?E-MAIL: J.Snelders@net.hcc.nl Can anyone please tell me how to get bootleg-cds?E-MAIL: bawst2@pitt.edu Several months and a concert later, I do know now that this DOES NOT beat LE, not by a long shot. LE captures the mood of a post-yuppie, pre-GenX generation (I'm 29)in such a way that folks of both genders can understand and also feel understood. BFP does not really offer too much for those with Y chromosomes to become one with thematically. This is not at all a criticism of the musicianship, lyrics, vocals, and overall production. It just is not the anthem for the '90s as LE is. Perhaps this is why sales have not been what was anticipated, although one must question the value of a sales figure on artistic assessment.E-MAIL: DTrimm56@hamptons.com Wow! That last response was so intelligent! Who the hell needs an anthem? I''m just want great music. Yuppie? Gen x? Who gives? The indented songs serve to divide the album into distinct sections.Comments supplied by users do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Roadkill Consulting, Inc. |
