Comments for Amos, Tori, Caught a Lite Sneeze(CD5)

The song Graveyard is a very short, but it is intriguing how something less than a minute can be so uplifting and inspiring. A quickie :). Also, the vocals on the sandwich song are very bluesy and almost sexy in the way they are sung. Nice. Toodles Mr Jim is a tribute to a neighbor, and it is interesting how she recounts something of her childhood and how her strong feelings about the matter from when she was young seem unwavered still.

this CD sounds so different from all the other tori stuff we're used to. but then again, tori has a very broad musical plane

With this single, the B-Sides show a new sort of style of Tori's writing, a very Impressionist, child-like quality much like what is seen in "Not The Red Baron". Listen to "Talula" UK CD #2's "Alamo" and "Sister Named Desire", they're very much the same. Honestly, with this single and Talula CD2, I think Tori has explored this style of writing as far as she can... It's not her most interesting, though still very beautiful.

hey it was great what can i say like usual
This CD-5 features an unedited version of the first singlefrom Boys for Pele. It is wonderfully produced in terms ofarrangements and backing vocals, somewhat softer than "God,"but otherwise somewhat similar. The remaining tracks (Silly songs) are somewhat intriguing, and don`t quite show the energy or effort shown on B-sidesfrom the Winter or Cornflake Girl CD5`s (the only references I have). If you have a choice, try the other Caught a Lite Sneeze CD5first, if you have access to it (I didn`t).
