Comments for Green Day, Insomniac

This album is more pop-oriented than previous Green Day albums, making it even more accessible to radio than "Dookie."

"Insomniac" is probably one of the best sophmore albums since Stone Temple Pilots released "Purple." Although only 4 songs on the album go for longer than 2:30, I can safely say that all the songs on this album have the potential to be big hits. Their best songs are "Geek Stink Breath" (of course), "Stuck With Me", "86", and, probably my favorite song on the whole album, "Brain Stew." This album is a definite winner!!!

"Insomniac" is probably the best sophomore album since Stone Temple Pilots released "Purple." Some of their best songs are "Stuck With Me," "86," "Brain Stew," and, of course, "Geek Stink Breath." This album totally picks up where Dookie left off. It is a much harder version of Green Day. There is no "When I Come Around" or "Pulling Teeth" on this album. Everything is strictly hardcore punk. I reviewed this album with a perfect ten. It is well worth the money I spent.

Earlier Billie Joe clained he only knew three chords. I heard at least four in Brain Stew alone. -Rad

I think this is the best Green Day CD of all time. It's got a big variety and it still stays punk sounding. You gotta love the 2 minute intro to "Panic Song". The lyrics are right on with stuff like "Bab's Uvula Who?" The segway from the slowest song to the fastest song (Brainstew/Jaded) is great. Shows their growth in musical talent, but doesn't slow the whole CD down to make it "radio friendly"

I really like this Green Day album. Brain Stew and Stuart and the Ave. are the best songs on it. It is well worth the money I paid for it. I would give it a 9.5 rating. Green Day Rules!!!

Green Day rules. Most of their songs rock with a good beat. I love Green Day and I would give them at least a 9
