Comments for Haslam, Annie, Blessing in Disguise

Very beautiful, of course. On the artwork, in a purplish-greenish faded tinge, she is pictured as holding a globe of the earth in her hands. She is also wearing a tiara and a flowing gown. Is she portraying herself as queen of earth''s creatures? The songs on the album can be separated into the two groups. The first six songs are more pop-oriented, reminiscent of 50''s and 60''s style mellow music. However, I love the Renaissance feel of the last set of songs, with the soaring harmonies, on-target pitches and smooth delivery. Maybe Annie is the queen of Art Rock.
