Comments for Hawkwind, Electric Tepee

Just as I was thinking Hawkwind had dried up, up pops Electric Tepee, an excellent combination of mood & rock. Even the reworked Mirror of illusion (Mask of the morning) works well. Don't take my word for it, buy it

Recent years have seen a general decline in new Hawkwind studio LP''s( Though not live albums). Thankfully this bucks the trend, being the finest studio set since the Black Sword. Down to a tight 3 piece, heavier tracks merge with more ambient style sounds. Nice artwork too! A definite return to the early 70''s feel, and style, yet acknowledging 90''s culture to give a great mix of the new and the old.

Great album. Hawkwind still have tere stuff together and really tight on this one. "Secret Agent" is probably my favorite song on the album. After over 25 years, Brock is still writing great songs.
