Comments for Hawkwind, In Search Of Space

I thought the LP was "Xin search.." but I could be wrong. It is the definitive Hawkwind. Space Ritual is this after it had evolved live through a coupla hundred shows. Cover is by (the late) Barney Bubbles.

A lot of confusion surrounds the name of this record. There is no reference on either my vinyl copy, or the CD version to it being called X In Search of Space. I always refer to it, as In Search of Space.This is a good early recording, an album which perhaps more than any other HW LP slips in to a groove. Good late night listening(played loud!).

The second album. The line-up was Brock, Turner, Ollis, Dettmar, DikMik and Dave Anderson.The original version has a fold out sleeve and includes a booklet (the Hawklog).
