Comments for Heart, Little Queen

This album has a different feel to "Dreamboat Annie", so it's difficult to say which one I believe to be superior. Harder to get to know than their debut, but well worth the effort. Hard Rock, Folk, Ballads, Pop, Jazz -- "Little Queen" has it all. The music and lyrics are memorably quirky, playful, or intimate.

One of a couple Heaart albums that when I listen to them, I start at track 1, til the end. The continuity is perfect all the way thru!. Love the magical Tolkien forestry fantasy feel of the album!

As if there debut album wasn`t brilliant enough, Heart went out and outdid themselves in 1977 with Little Queen. This album is a splendid infusion of hard rock and folk, combining hard-edge rockers with enchanting acoustical tunes. Barracuda proved to be a Heart signature song and a staple on rock radio stations. This is unquestionably one of Heart`s best efforts, and a must for "early" Heart fans.
