Great album. First track especially.

A bit more refined and a bit broader in scope than Meantime. Check out the odd time groove on Rollo, the high intensity vocals on Tic and some rad guitar on Biscuts. Nevermind the metal label, most metal bands wouldnt know groove if it bit them in the butt. Thanks in part to having one of the funkiest drummers in the genre, these guys groove like nothin else. If you like Meantime, you'll like this album. If you liked Unsung, go finish your beer frat boy.

there are some cool songs on this album. the best being streetcrab. that song rulz :) milquetoast and tic are also pretty good, and sam hell is certainly a cool way to end the record. I just hope that page's voice gets better, and that the other members of the band start writing more, otherwise the music is going to sound a lot more sameish.

Helmet is just plain heavy, not metal! Have you checked out the collective length of the group's hair? Oh, well, metal or not, they are without a doubt one of the heaviest bands out. Betty is just another crushing example of Page and the boys brutal musical vision. Awesome disc! I recently got the double 10" vinyl from Am-Rep, and it contains two unreleased tracks not found the CD. A complete meltdown!
