Electric Ladyland was named after the "state of the art" (for its time) recording studio Hendrix had designed and installed in New York City. The Electric Ladyland sessions show the artist developing past the blues and psychadelia of his past work and in search of the next big thing in the development of his musical progress. Beyond its commercial success, it's always interesting to hear "All Along the Watchtower." Hendrix plays Dylan and the result is a genuine tour-de-force!

This album is Out of This World! How about Merman? Voodoo Child, or Voodoo Chile (Slight Return)? Need I continue. Should be part of any rock-n-roll library!

This is my fave Hendrix release,..very bluesy,very spacerock,...lots of strange guitar effects!! Good late night party music.

Greatest album from JIMI, I like it very, very much. Try it.
