Comments for Hendrix, Jimi, The Cry Of Love

I wanted it because it was Hendrix, but it shouldn't have been released in the state it was... I'm sure Jimi would have finished them up much better... Thanks for trying Mitch M.

Being a major Hendrix fan from the age of 13, I remember the release of Cry of Love just after Jimi's death, and how disappointed I was in the album. Even though it was Jimi's last "legitimate" studio effort, it was the first Hendrix album that I truly did not like.

I love this album.It clearly shows Jimi moving in a new direction.His lyrics on this are amazing.Amoving experience too say the least.
