Comments for Hendrix, Jimi, Hendrix In The West

In my book, Hendrix played probably his best ever rendition of his timeless ''Red House''. The quality and technical competence of the man''s playing was par excellence. The rest of the album contains some of his definitive playing, especially tracks like ''Little Wing'', ''Jonny B. Goode'' etc. A true master, always exceeding himself.

This cd is out of print.Sure glad I own cause it is a great collection of vintage Jimi.

Friend of mine played the album a few weeks ago (5/2001) - totally wicked. Blue Suede Shoes was a total trip - Jimi teaches Noel the melody in the beginning of the tune - some incredible and trippy guitar work - Wish I could get an MP3 version (hint hint...) Thanks
