Talking to the moon is by far the best Don Henley creation ever!!

I agree. "Talking To The Moon" is terrific. It could be because we''re both Texans. It is his best song since "Wasted Time". The album reaaly allowed Don Henley to be himself. As much as I admire the work of Glenn Frey, Henley''s talents are too good to be shared with a group project. This is very apparent on "Them and Us", "Lilah" and "Long Way Home".

Don Henley proved himself to be the only Eagle capable of solo greatness. His debut solo LP is a well-written collection of songs that are only a portent of things to come. "Dirty Laundry" was Henley`s first US top-ten hit.
