Comments for 38 special, Tour De Force

Great Rock Album. I may be slightly biased due to playing rock guitar during this time period. This was the best the early 80's had to offer. Great sound with catchy tunes. This was certainly the peak for .38 Special, it never got better. If you like the classic southern rock sound - Here it is! It's better than Lynyrd Skynyrd!

I got in a car wreck in 1987 while jamming to this album on tape. The car did a 360 on a wet road on a mountain in North Carolina. No damage to the car or the tape. Still one of the best ever made. Who else would attempt 5 guitars and two drummers? Enough to make you want to drive too fast in the rain on a mountainside in NC.

This really is a lost treasure (at least in Europe). This album is fullof great melodies, great riffs, great sounds...everyone who likes melodic hard rock should have this album. In my all-time TOP 5.

If I'd Been the One and Back Where You Belong! What can I say? Great rock songs that crossed over as pop hits! There is nothing out there today even remotely like this! Damn I miss Arena Rock!
