Comments for Hickman, Sara, Shortstop

What a joy this album was to find! If you like mid-tempo, somewhat pop, somewhat folk-ish tunes, with smart lyrics, you will love this. From the sax on "Couldn't help myself" to the intrigue of a song like "Aurora", this is by far my favorite of Sara Hickman's albums. It was something I saw in a record store and bought on impulse. Rarely have I been so rewarded on an unknown purchase.

I highly recommend all of Sara Hickman''s recordings. Her style can be best described as a hyper-active folk singer, but even that label falls far short of capturing energy and personal contact with her fans. Her music ranges from beautiful balads to the rock''n "Take It Like A Man" I have given my friends a money back guarrantee, an offer not available to the general public (sorry), on her CDs and concerts. She has not cost me any money yet.
The other two albums are classified Pop and Alternative. SoI picked the other category Sara`s music kinda falls into...Folk/Acoustic.
