Comments for Hickman, Sara, Domestic Science Club

E-MAIL: jmkenn@bu.edu
I have only heard one of the songs from this album, Sweet Tooth, back when I was living in Dallas in early 1994. I have since moved to Boston, but I''d love to know how Sara is doing. I was so surprised and delighted to find "Necessary Angels" in a Harvard Square HMV Records store last fall. Glad she got the funds and friends to help put this record out. Thanks, Discovery Records! If anyone knows how to contact Sara, please tell her I said "hello from Boston -- my new home." (I am a friend and fan from way back...) Thanks! John Michael Kennedy (jmkenn@bu.edu)
Sarah Hickman, Patty Lege, and Robin Macy together form TheDomestic Science Club, and release a single, self-titledalbum. The musical style is reminiscent of music from theforties, both in content and in style. The songs are aboutold-fashioned love and commitment, or love and heartache. The music places more emphasis on vocal harmony than any-thing else.
