Strong set from a fine soul vocalist. "Ain't Nobody Like You" is one of Miki's finest tunes and performances ever. "Good Morning Heartache" and "Shining Through" are stirring ballads. "New Fire From an Old Flame" is modern pop at its best. A couple of slow moments ("But I Love You," "I've Been Through It") but overall a fine release.

My Goodness!!!! This is one slammin'' release from Miki. Her renditions of "Good Morning Heartache", and This Bitter Earth" were great but, "Release Me", "I''ve Been Through It", and "Ain''t Noboby Like You" just blew me away. After listening to all of her previous releases before, this is the best album she''s done to date. I wish she would do more like this one. Femme Fatale has feeling, emotion, and a very strong drive and desire that none of her other records had. This should be a definite additoon to your collection. SDeez
