Good album! Not boring due to various types of songs. I especially like "Amazon rain" and "Calling my personal angel" As usual the vocals are very well produced and the arrangements are excellent. I like his courage to include an "A Cappella" song "Prayers", it adds a certain touch. Great!

I have been trying to purchase this CD for about a year now without any success. In particular I wish to obtain the music for "Praying" so our church choir can learn to sing it. If any one can help in this regard it would be imensely appreciated Thanks Fred Colford

A terrific album! Paul has one of the best voices I''ve ever heard, and is such a versatile songwriter. I recommend any of his albums!
Paul Janz is still rocking with this release on his new labelAttic. His 5th (!) album, Paul recorded it digitally at hishome studio in Mission, B.C. It features his trademarked vocaleffects (stacked with delays and filters) on most tracks. This album had an introspective feel due to his trip to Brazilwith World Vision Canada. "Amazon Rain" echoes the sentimentsof poverty/despair while "Get Arrested" rails against leaderswho steal from their country for their own ends."King Pin Kool" on the other hand is about rock star egos andhow the average guy can`t compare to that image. Finally, the spiritual side of life comes out in songs such as"Praying" (obviously) and "Always".Recommended listening! If you`re new to Paul Janz, try his"greatest hits" compilation "Presence" which features a numberof his previous best singles.
