My favorite live J.M.J. album! Most of his other live albums aren't that good....poor sound quality, and always sounding too perfect as if one were hearing the original on a very bad stereo system. "Jarre Live" has totally the opposite effect. The "not nearly as perfect" playing, superb sound quality, and the enthusiasm of how much the crowd is into the concert adds to the vitality and raw energy of what a "real" live performance is truly all about. Unfortunately, Colin Neal, who happens to run a JMJ Website doesn't share these views and seems expect everytime. Come to think of it, his views seem more to be those of the popular cliches of what is most often said of JMJ rather than his own.

Ooops! I meant to say that he seems to expect perfection on his live albums all of the time. Sorry...

I agree. _Live_ is probably Jarre''s only `real'' live album.
