Comments for Jarre, Jean Michel, Music for supermarkets

This album was pressed (LP) only once and the master was destroyed. The album was played once on a radio station and then sold at an auction. The money was then used to help some artists and artistic projects in France. So, don't ever expect to see this album in store.

Just found this album after much searching. Available using Audio Galaxy. Well worth downloading as you will never find it again. NOT available in stores due to it only being pressed once then destroyed. EXTREMELY RARE

I have this as mp3s. Parts 3, 5 and 7(out of 8) are just pre-release versions of material from Zoolook and Rendez-Vous; the short Part 4 is sorta like "Band in the Crowd". Apart from that - Part 1 is nice, resembling Magnetic Fields, but all original. Parts 2 and 8 are both just a flute solo and some various (mostly rhytmless) background voices. Part 6 is bridge-like and has plenty of industrial noises.
