I was expecting more imagination in this album. Too many songs repeated from concerts in China. Alexandre Falcao U.S.A

True, there WERE a lot of repeats, but it was the BEST repeats he has ever played. I like many of the newer versions of his BEST SONGS better than the originals. I give this album a 9 due to its content, simply the best!

I think it's one of the greatest albums ever.

In case you haven''t already heard, only 2 of the tracks were were actually taken from the concert in Hong Kong (Fishing Junks at Sunset parts 1 & 2). The rest of the album was actually recorded during Jarre''s 1993 Europe In Concert Tour. According to the official line EIC was artistically sensational, but ended up losing money. The live album was supposed to be called "EIC Live", but was changed to "Hong Kong" at the last moment in order for Jarre to avoid paying off a huge debt to the E.I.C. promoters. This is a shame, because what was thought to have been a decent album is actually a lot of people taken in by the biggest european musical scam in years. Jarre should be ashamed of himself....
A double CD live album recorded in Hong Kongin march 11th 1994
