I'm surprised that nobody has left a comment on this great album.

As a dedicated Billy Joel fan, I was definitely pleased with his latest album. Joel combined all his assetts to put together one of his greatest albums since The Stranger!

This is an awesome album. I like what he has done with this

I think that the reason people don't comment much on this album, is that Billy has decided to retire. I don't buy it myself, but the thought is a little depressing. The album is probably his most mature to date, but I would like to see him take a step back and write a few more up-beat rock songs. It would be nice to see him try to interest some younger people in his music. The last couple of albums make him sound like a lecturing parent.

Fantastic ! All album that goes to the heart once again ! To date, you must have a large amount of inspiration, don't you Billy ?

My aunt loves this guy! She crocheted an afghan that looks like the sheet music of PIANO MAN. She even recieved an autographed, handwritten thankyou.

Billy has matured into a citizen of the world. He criticizes the vapid minds of many people in the usual articulate way. More contemplative than ever before. I guess the fact that I'm able to so easily see his point of view means we'll all getting a little older....

Farther down the drain. The only song I like is "Great Wall Of China", which reminds me more of his stuff from The Nylon Curtain. Seems like Billy is turning into Phil Collins and Elton John (who used to rock it up with the best of em as well, but who seems to be turning sappy as of late). Nuff said.

I''m only 12 years old but I''ve loved Billy since I was 6 I have his album on CD and Cassette. While other kids listen to others and call me weird I''m stickng to Billy''s songs as my favorite
This is his best album since the 'An Innocent Man' and 'The Nylon Curtain'. Certainly the Phil Collins or latter day Elton route as has been mentioned! No Man's Land, Blonde Over Blue, and Sahdes of Grey are some of the hardest rock he has ever written. A couple of clunkers though. All About Soul is rather turgid and the lyrics to 2000 Years are sappy as hell. Other then that this is a great album!
As for above..I meant 'certainly NOT the Phil Collins or latter day Elton' route. :-)
