Terrific live set from the U.S.S.R. Much better than Songs In The Attic. "Honesty" is my fave here, and the live version of "An Innocent Man" is terrific too. I''ve never been big on live sets, but this one''s great through and through.
Billy`s live Russian tour album, often listed as Kohliept, as the title is in Cyrillic. (It simply means, "Concert".) A pretty rockin` show, though this was the tour that killed Billy`s voice. You can hear him gasping on "Uptown Girl" and he doesn`t even try to do the high parts in "An Innocent Man". With _Greatest_Hits_, a wonderful introduction to Billy`s music. Recorded in the Soviet Union with Liberty DeVitto on drums, Doug Stegmeyer on bass, Dave Lebolt on keyboards, Russel Javors on acoustic and electric guitar, Mark Rivera on sax, Kevin Dukes on electric guitar, and Peter Hewlett and George Simms on vocals, plus The Georgian Singers "ZHOURNALIST" of U.S.S.R.
