Comments for John, Elton, Victim Of Love

I must digress. This is the worst recording by anyone of Elton''s stature and yes, I''ve heard METAL MACHINE MUSIC by Lou Reed. Not only that ,the album cover is downright gay .AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Better yet,buy it . Then destroy it for the good of the universe.
For an album that took me seven years to find, it is now the easiest album to find in Canada. Every store has a copy of the MCA compact disc, and itshould be noted that the pawn shops have probably three copies of it per shop: this is considered by many to be a bad album. It`s not all that bad, but Elton`s done better. The absence of Taupin, Osborne and Robinson on this record would make any previously non-suspecting fan nervous. Be nervous--the liner notes clearly showthat Elton did not even play the keyboards for this album. There are two versions of the CD, only one I`ve heard--and it`s a bit confused as to where the tracks begin and end. This being the first CD I ever saw let alone owned, I`ve been skeptical about the medium ever since. An album to be bought purely for completion`s sake. Oh, by the way... for those who have never heard it... I should warn you: this album issimply Elton John getting in on the fad of the era--DISCO, unfortunately it was two years overdue. Good album, though.
70'S Rocker
What a shocker. Together with Leather Jackets and Ice on Fire this forms a trifecta of absolute cheesy rubbish from Mr John. I am please to say that his next effort 21 at 33 did improve things but really, cashing in on the disco thing was a real mistake. This album should be deleted along with the above other two from his back catalogue. Leave the disco to Donna Summer and the Bee Gees, Mr John, you rock they don't!!!!!!!!!
One word describes this offering - CRAP!!!!!!!
