Comments for John, Elton, Leather Jackets

This is simply one of the best albums I have ever heard... it inspires me to become a better person, and it remains a treasured CD among all those who own it!---- 'Heartache...' brings tears of joy to my eyes, while 'Hoop of Fire' is as catchy an Elton track as you are ever going to get! Classic melodies, beautiful vocals, and Gus Dudgeon's most successful effort as producer. Kudos to Sir Elton!!!

If you believe what I just wrote, then ALL of you like that midget back at "The Fox" album page should lay off the crack. Oh yeah!
Although I have the vinyl it should be on tape and disc, as well. It is produced by Gus Dudgeon. The only song I remeber being played off this album was Heartache All Over the World.

Very cheesy 1980's synth music. I'm afraid this album is a very long way off the mark.It was not until Sleeping with the Past did Mr John return to the fold. I can barely hear a piano in this recording as it is drowned with a sea of keyboards and drum machines. Gus Dudgeon real;ly let things slide on this and also on Ice on Fire. I think the whole team were snorting the lines during this period. What a shocker, I wouldn't even play this at my mother n laws birthday. Simply crap. Come on Elton give your true fans a break. Thankfully things got better with future recordings and his back catologue was remastered.
