Yes, yes, yes, yes, this is certainly Journey's best best best best best album ever. Absolutely astounding. The song LAY IT DOWN is about getting poked up the butt whilst laying down.

The best album, from a band nearing their peak. Every song is great! Most overlooked Journey song IMHO: the title track...check out Schon's harmonics about halfway thru... brrr, chills.

I wrote in an issue of Raiosed On Radio (great AOR/melodic rock magazine) that Escape "...is the album that really changed and shaped the entire world of AOR." And "...could call it the instruction book, the ABC of how to write and perform AOR." Well, you get the picture, don't you ? Thing is, every word is completely true !
