Beautifully ahead of its time.

Much pretentiousness, But even more mellotron! Excessive art rock!

I've always found this amazing, the most original & exciting band sound after the Beatles. Every track works, and each in a different way. And Sinfield's lyrics on here are fantastic I think. A great great album the likes of which you will not hear elsewhere. (this band splintered up & did not work together after this debut LP - Fripp carried on with the name).

One of the absolute best albums of the 1960s. If this had been released in 1973, all of it's songs would now be overplayed on classic rock stations.

The best KC album (only Red comes close). A real masterpiece, no question, and even though Moonchild is TOO self-indulgent (but tolerable), the other tracks are so unbelievably good that it doesn't matter. 10/10

This album is like a therapy, a real valious therapy for everybody. The sounds carry on and the trip-frip is out of the times... there's no words for this.

The cd which introduced me to King Crimson in the first place! My second favorite "KC" cd and my 26th favorite cd overall!

This was the perfect way for one of the greatest prog-rock bands of all times to get their start. I love all the tracks on it! Only wish Greg Lake, Ian McDonald and Michael Giles had stuck around.
