-Not to mention the considerable input of Tony Levin on this album, on both bass guitar & Chapman Stick!

Discipline was the debut for the third Fripp incarnation of King Crimson. Line up: Bill Bruford (Yes) was still on board for drums, Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel) for bass and Chapman stick, Adrian Belew (Frank Zappa, David Bowie) gave vocals and telepathic guitar playing with Robert Fripp (Brian Eno) who fevertly plays guitar and "Frippertronics". An amazing record which hasn't aged a day since its release.

Another masterpiece! King Crimson's best album since "In The Court Of The Crimson King!" "Thela Hun Ginjeet," "Frame By Frame," "Matte Kudasai" and "Discipline" are fantastic, but "The Sheltering Sky" is awesome!! The only song that I am not crazy about is "Indiscipline!" Definitely, worthy of a 9/10 and is my 33rd favorite disc overall!

here we see a kinder and gentler Fripp. he doesn''t have time for the aggressive sounds of kc''s previous albums because he''s too busy playing the guitar with absurd mathematical precision. very different, but still an incredible album. Highlights: "Frame by Frame", "Matte Kudasai" (the pretty ballad), "Indiscipline", and "Discipline".
Features the combination of Fripp`s "methodical andmathematical" guitar work with Belew`s amazing abilityto create bizzare and wonderful noises on his guitar.
