"Look For Me Baby" is really cool.

A great part of the Kinks history. Admittedly a little rough around the edges, but Something Better Beginning remains one of those Ray tracks which look forward hopefully through despair. a stirring moment for him...other highlights include a raucous, if again rough, workout on Dancing in the Streets. An album, like Kinks Kontroversy, which balances between their live stage performances and their future studio prowess.

Probably the best early Kinks album; It is much better then the first one. I give it a rating of 9 out of 10 because of the irresistable tunes packaged in it. This was the first early Kinks album i heard and on my second listen to the album i was just amazed by tunes such as the energetic "Wonder Where my Baby is Tonight", the lovely "Tired Of Wating For You", and the great middle eights and choruses of songs like "Don''t Ever Change", and "Something Better Beginning."
