Comments for Kinks, the, Live Kinks

The sound's nothing great, but the energy of the show is impressive. And so is the audience sing-along with Sunny Afternoon -- quite possibly the first of the rock 'n' roll era. It's particularly neat to hear the girls scream when they hear themselves singing.

Tracks: (side 1)''Till The End 0f The Day'', ''A Well Respected Man'', ''You''re Lookin'' Fine'', ''Sunny Afternoon'', ''Dandy'', (side 2)''I''m On An Island'', ''Come On Now'', ''You Really Got Me'', medley: ''Milk Cow Blues''/''Batman Theme''/''Tired Of Waiting For You'' The US release(''THE LIVE KINKS'') was first: Aug. 1967. The UK version(''LIVE AT KELVIN HALL'') actually came out after ''SOMETHING ELSE'' in Jan. 1968. Both versions have identical track listings. However, the US album cover mistakenly identifies ''Till The End Of The Day'' as ''All Day And All Of The Night''. This mistake was perpetuated on at least one CD release(I believe it may be the UK ''KELVIN HALL'' CD).
