Comments for Kinks, the, Kinkdom

I usually get confused which songs are for Kink-Size or which ones are on Kinkdom since they are on one CD. They both have fine pop songs on them. "Never Met a Girl Like You Before", "Who''ll Be The Next In Line", and " I Need You" are just some of the highlights

Released only in the U.S., this LP contains tracks fromvarious sources: The primary source was the UK-only EP knownas `Kwyet Kinks` which included the first three songs plus`Don`t You Fret`. `Well Respected` and `Such A Shame` werealso released as a U.S.-only single. `Naggin` Woman` wasleft over from the U.K. version of `KINDA KINKS`. `See MyFriends` and `Never Met A Girl` were A and B sides of thesame single. `Next In Line` was the U.K. B-side of `Everybody`s Gonna Be Happy`(not included here) and the A-side of the U.S. version of the same single. `I Need You`was the B-side of `Set Me Free`(not included here). `It`sAll Right` was the B-side of `You Really Got Me`(not included here). `Louie Louie` was from the U.K.-only EP`Kinks-Size Session` and had already come out in the U.S.LP `KINKS-SIZE`(making it the only song to appear on twonon-compilation LPs)Released in Nov. 1965.

I still don't know to this day why Reprise put Louie Louie on the Kinkdom lp, when it previously was released on the Kinks-Size lp, and why they didn't include the hit for that time, Dedicated Follower Of Fashion. Or would that have made too much sense. Because of that, I had to buy the Greatest Hits lp, because it was not on any lp before, nor after.
