Comments for Kirsty MacColl, Galore

This is a truly fine album through all of its eighteen tracks. The gentle simplicity of the classic "Days" is matched for quality by Kirstys traditional swinging singalongs like the brand new "Caroline" and the excellent "You Just Haven`t Earned it Yet Baby". The album tracks from Kirstys earliest songs such as "They Don't Know" right through to the most recent "Can't Stop Killing You" and the epic "Titanic Days" with chart classics like "Fairytale of New York" along the way. It features the best of her early years plus the finest of her albums "Kite", "Electric Landlandy" and "Titanic Days". Due to the rarity of much of Kirstys material many of these pre-1989 tracks are not available anywhere else. A collection in every sense : Thank You!

An incredible collection of the most underrated and underexposed artisits today. This compilation includes her amazing vocals lent to the now classic Pogues tunes, along with covers of Billy Bragg and Lou Reed. What stands out the most though, are her own songs that should have way more listeners than they do.

I only wish "Galore" included and earlier song "Patrick". Nonetheless, this album is smashing.
The Greatest Hits of the best singer/songwriter ever.
