Comments for Kiss, Ace Frehley

Comparatively speaking, Ace's effort was the most honest approach to rock n'roll of the solo albums. Lyrically speaking, it was a veritable trainwreck. Now before the entire KISS army lynches me, I would like to submit to the record that I am a card carrying member. On a personal level, I just question the sensibility of declaring "If you don't get high, I think I'll just say goodbye." -Thanks for listening, COLD GIN.

I can't believe you don't like the lyrics. ACE FREHLEY RULES!!!!!!!! Definitly the best solo album!

By far the best of the solos. I just heard New York Groove on the 1996 reunion tour, and it was one of my favorites of the night. How many songs do you think were played from the other solos....none.

Just for the record, Ace was always my favorite member. It was because of his style, not because he was a poet. Like him or not, let's be honest: He is not a great lyricist. Check out Two Sides on Unmasked. "So you decide to choose a mate, because your tired of all those dates, of all those dates." Long live ACE anyway.

The best of the Kiss solo releases, hands down! Some people think that Ace was the no-talent motherfucker of the group, and this album proves they're wrong. Of course, he's no great songwriter, how many fuckin' guitarists are? Give the man the credit he deserves. "Snowblind" is an awesome song. WORD

Who cares if Ace isn't another Bob Dylan when it comes to lyrics, his lyrics are not the worst I've ever heard, and a hell of a lot better than alot of the crap that passes for song lyrics these days, besides he is a guitarist, and a an awesome one at that

By far, the best of the four solo''s album. Surprising since ace was not the leader of kiss. Really like tracks like "Snowblind", "Ozone" and "Fractured mirrors".
