NO - itīs the first album, but not the once album with Mark St. John. He also played on Asylum.

Before the Animalize tour began, Mark St. John developed Reichter''s Syndrome, an arthritic condition which causes swelling in the hands and feet. Bruce Kulick was brought in as a temp. replacement. During the tour, KISS decided to keep Bruce in the band on a permanent basis. Mark St. John was dismissed. Bruce finished the tour and then went into the studio to record "Asylum" with the rest of the band. Mark St. John left and started a band called White Tiger.

This is the only Kiss album to feature the guitar playing ofMark St. John. Album features the now notorious "Heavens OnFire" and "Thrills In The Night"
