Comments for Kiss, Unmasked

The hoax album. To this day I still enjoy listening to this album. Tracks 1, 2, 6, 7, 8 & 10 are by far great songs. A video was made for "Shandi" and is merely available through Konventions or bootleg. I have it and enjoy the video plot. This is the 1st real video made by KISS. Was aired quite a bit in Canada. A writing credit goes to big brother, Bob Kulick, (brother of Bruce), on "Naked City". Don't forget, disco wasn't dead yet when this album was recorded. I guess everyone at one time or another has to change with the times...Hmmm, interesting.

A commercial version of Kiss. With the songs "Shandi" and "Talk to me" they made chart-songs not rock songs.

She's So European and Torpedo Girl are the highlights.

Ace's last real effort as Two Sides, Talk to Me, and Torpedo Girl are the only solid tunes.

Unmasked is just another Dynasty. each guy came in with what he thought was cool and they recorded it. too bad ace didn't get more than three songs. listen for the double bass, all you drum fans.

Generall not considered by most to be a good album, I stillpull this one out every once in awhile to listen to some ofthe rather 80ish sounding songs. She`s So European and Esay asit seems are still my faves. on this cd.

Anton Fig plays drums on this album. Peter Criss was off somewhere licking his tail.
