Comments for Kiss, Carnival of souls

I am sooooo glad they chose to release this! I loved this line up and I loved Revenge. "Seduction" and "I Confess" remind me of Gene's work on The Elder. "Hate" is so heavy, and "The Jungle" has the groove. Finally Bruce Kulick gets too sing on "I Walk Alone" I can't wait to hear Bruce w/ John Corabi in their new band UNION.

I would have to say that this is my least favorite album to date. Although I appreciate all the work Bruce Kulick put into the band, I think the time had indeed come to make a change. The Kiss sound is totally absent on this album, it just becomes a bunch of playing with no real soul to it. I love Psycho Circus, so I think the old recipe is definately working again.

Kiss chose to jump on the then-hot grunge bandwagon, with mixed results. 6/10.
