Comments for Knopfler, Mark, Golden heart

Bought the album on the spot (have all the dire straits and Mark Knopfler albums) but I regret to say he didn''t show any improvement. Same old, same old. The first song is (almost) exactly the style of the soundtrack he made for ''last exit to brooklyn'', some other songs are more the style of dire straits, but with not too strong lyrics. Overall 6 out of 10.

His first solo-album (except the soundtracks). He is the head of Dire Straits and this CD sounds like Dire Straits.
