Comments for Kraftwerk, The Man Machine

This is an excellent album, and a clear illustration of the fact that Kraftwerk was the grandfather of techno and the 1980's synthpop. The Model is a really cool song, though the lyrics are mildly cheesy. Every song on this album is great...it would make a good first-time impression.

My recommendation is to buy this record in German, even though it is probably much more expensive. Unfortunately there''s a mistake on the CD on ''Das Modell''. At one point the voice is suddenly too loud. This problem does not exist on the vinyl version.
