Comments for Kraftwerk, Ralf und Florian

Quite different from their later output, this early all-instrumental record documents the state of the art in synth technology ca. 1973. It's really quite short on "tunes" and might be regarded rather as a precedent to the ambient works of Brian Eno. I believe this record has never been released on CD, as the Kraftwerk members may regard their 'real' history as commencing with the following year's 'Autobahn' - and with some justification.

Correction: R&F is available as a CD now, but I''m not sure if it an official release.
