what i wanted to say: unfortunately they split up in october '95. they were GREAT.

I just wanted to say that I think Kyuss was the best band ever, and them breaking up was the worst thing to happen in 1995. I will always regret not seeing them live.

Echoing the comments of another, I could nearly weep for the fact that I haven't and I guess never will see Kyuss live. I don't even have a damn t-shirt. I met a guy that did, though. He toured with them in his own band during the Sky Valley tour. Said Garcia and Homme were cool as shit. I think we all knew that.

Kyuss broke up the night before I was to see them for the first time. Same thing happened to the Cult a few months before this show. What the fuck is with Florida that makes band go batshit? Definately one of the most overlooked bands of the 90's, this disc was in my truck's CD player for months. I hear something different every time I play it. I love that! If you like heavy but trippy spaced-out grooves, check it! Wild Steve out.

Whoa Nelly "sky Valley" is fucking intense. Great album to listen to in the dark! Its a damn shame they broke up. Why do all the truly great bands break up so soon while we are basically forced to listen to Aerosmith for ANOTHER ten years.OH NO!
