Kyuss is my favourite band along with Sepultura. This is easily one of the best albums I have ever heard. I don't just mean that in the usual way. I mean it musically. If you would buy there new album, just to check it out, I guarantee you that you will here one of the most most creative bands ever to exist. To me, Kyuss is the child of Hendrix and Black Sabbath. They have Hendrix's creative guitar riffs and Sabbath's fuzzed out guitar sound. Check them out, they are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heavy stuff! Like motor oil mixed with sugar! The ONLY band I listen to that I have to turn the bass down on the stereo! The music is very trippy but not in a silly "alternative" way. Similar to drinking tequila when it's a hundred degrees outside. Beautifully uncomfortable.

Found the existence of this group accidently. Appreshensively, I ordered the circus CD. Loved it from the first listen. Love it still. Guess will love it for a very long time. In fact, loved it so much that I went ahead and bought the blues and Sky Valley CDs. Dont think can ever decide which is the best. Best to own all three.
Alternative? Maybe not, but what else can you say? Metalsounds gay, hard rock isn`t right. Another contributercalled them Desert Blues Rock with Sand and Chafe or something like that. It doesn`t really matter, becausethey`re the favorite band of nearly all lucky enough to listen.
R.I.P. (Rest in Peace): Kyuss (1989-1995)
