The Best ever work by Led Zeppelin, except for the Battle of Evermore. (If it had Kashmir, I would die Happy) Truly an enduring classic.

The greatest rock album ever... It's such amazing All songs are masterpieces.. every current rock group has an influence of Zeppelin but most of all of this album

An amazing album but not quite as creative, diverse, or awesome as I and II.

The thrill here is not "Stairway To Heaven" as most would state. Instead (for me) it's "When The Levee Breaks". A lot of people I know call this album Led Zeppelin's Greatest Hits, and that may be true to some extent, but this album is not my fave. Probably because the damned thing's been played so much. But that's ok, "Misty Mountain Hop", "Black Dog", and "Battle of Evermore" are still great with me.

"Stairway To Heaven" is not the greatest song of all time. Led Zepplin is very overrated. They are a good band, but not to the extent that radio stations play them.

I would rate "Misty Mountain Hop" as my favorite cut off of this album.

"Stairway to Heaven" changed my life. This one track showed how one can song do so much. This album is certainly their most popular, possibly overshadowing some other incredible albums. "Black Dog" and "When the Levee Breaks" are masterfully innovative songs.

The best ever versions of Stairway To Heaven were done by Frank Zappa on his 1988 tour. He captured the true essence of the song better than Led Zeppelin.

What''s wrong with you people? Yes, it does suck that the Beastie Boys stole their material, and YES, this album''s good, and very diverse, but not their best. Just because "Stairway" is on it does not automatically make it the number one album of all time (which it''s not.) STH is a very nice, very pretty, very very cool song, but ... Zep''s so diverse in themselves, one can''t rightly say it''s their best song. What''s wrong with "The Battle of Evermore"? Okay, I admit, duets aren''t great. But you need to listen to the LYRICS of the song. THAT''S what makes it cool. And. ... Frank Zappa did a better job of STH than Zeppelin themselves? How can someone else capture Zep''s essence and meaning better than Zep themselves? That doesn''t make sence. STH is clearly Zep''s song; NOBODY can get the point of the song across better than Zep.

This album is a very good album, it's excellent. Stairway to Heaven is way overplayed. I think there are better albums such as Physical Graffiti, Houses of the Holy, Led Zep I+II. When the levee breaks, rocks! Going California is a masterpiece. Rock N Roll has that old time rock n roll feel to it.
