Comments for Living Colour, Vivid

Easily their best album...as stated above, it's not metal, but rather, funk/punk/rock type music. Living Colour's style is comparable to that of Fishbone's. Memories Can't Wait is a cover of the Talking Heads original.

living colour in their infancy are quite different to their incarnation on Stain. this album is a lot more light, in terms of lyric/message, and has a lot of fun. It doesn't really hint at the darkness of later tracks such as postman and new jack theme. Of course there are songs with easily detected messages, such as open letter to a landlord. My favourite tracks from this first album are middleman and desperate people. A fantastic debut album, endorsed by mick jagger and me.

living colour really rocked, hopefully they''ll get back together and make another album, it''s truly disapointing when a band of this calibur just doesn''t make it.
Debut album from Living Colour. Not metal, I know, but rock/funk/metal combination that can only be described as"Living Colour"
